Another smash hit from Janelle Monae in my opinion.  The more I hear from her the more impressed I am.  She turns a simple video into a profound statement simply with her powerful voice and lyrics.  And I can’t front, even though I find her a little weird she is definitely not bad to look at and easy on the eyes.  This song is definitely similar to “Tight Rope” but displays a bit more of her vocal power.  She’s a true musician.  Check out the video and song and see if you enjoy it as much as I did.

Ricky Rozay is absolutely everywhere these days. Thanks to Diddy’s marketing plan there’s not a place on your screen that you’re not seeing the bearded wonder. And I’m not even mad. I just checked this new video by Drift and I have to say I like the single and the videoography.  I didn’t know quite what to expect, especially when he started off with “G and body bag” which I always have to questioned one’s gangster but as I listened and watched further it was lyrically put together and speaks with knowledge of the streets that he came from, Drift has a story to tell.

The videography was well put and in sync with the track, I applaud the directors of the video for not throwing me off the message that Drift was delivering.
