Official Music Video for Young Money’s “Roger That,” Featuring Tyga, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne. I love it, the video reminds of the movie Sin City, and I have to say it was well directed. Filmed in Florida, the video is directed by David Rousseau and Adam Rush. It follows the Young Money as they are gathering around Weezy. Nicki is the first to appear on the screen before then Tyga takes it over, then Lil Wayne for the grand finale.
Our prayers and concerns are going out to Guru from Gang Starr as he is reportedly in a coma after suffering a heart attack. Gang Starr has been one of the most influential rap groups in hip hop history as they blended many elements of jazz into their music. Guru and DJ Premier have hip hop classics under their belts like “Royalty”, “DWYCK”, “Mass Appeal” and “Discipline”. Together and apart they have molded and created the smooth street sound that filled the airwaves for much of the 90’s. Guru has been regarded as one of the game’s best lyricists while DJ Premier has become a sought after producer as well as DJ.
Guru hails from Boston, Massachusetts and is nearly 44 years old. (born Keith Elam, July 17, 1966 in the Boston neighborhood of Roxbury). His name GURU stands for “Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal”.
In his honor check out some of Gang Starr’s music/videos below. Please keep this hip hop royalty in your prayers.

Rick Ross The “Mafia Music 2″ video starts with captures of the most dangerous criminals ranging from American gangster Al Capone to Colombian drug dealer Pablo Escobar. Which then switches to show Rick Ross rapping to the camera with features of DJ Khaled and Chrisette Michele. The video is pretty cool with the awesome production that Rick Ross and the Justice League put into it.
Coldest Winter, from his 808’s and Heartbreak album. a dark minimalistic piece; where a distraught, busty Leona Lewis lookalike in a wedding dress, is being chased by multiple, menacing, hooded figures. According to the MTV, the song is based on Kanye’s past relationship with his former fiancee’ Alexis and the lost of his mother. Kanye was not a part of the editing process and only saw the finished project. Directed by Nabil Elderkin (Paranoid / Welcome to Heartbreak),
The inseparable duo have done it again, Timbaland and Justin Timberlake are out with a new video which it seems these two chemistry can never go sour. Music video by Timbaland performing Carry Out.
I heard this song a while ago and refused to post it. When I saw the video, I figured you all could use a good laugh at these two attempting to stay relevant. While I actually like Nivea and her contribution on this song, Rasheeda’s performance was extremely last luster. She completely butchered a really good song. Oh well, enjoy the video for what its worth.
