French shoe house presents a skillfully executed luxury hi-top, the Louis Flat Python. The tonal beige package features different scales of snakeskin pattern applied to panels at different parts of the shoe, balancing the shoe front to back. Matching laces and eyelets, and an embossed Louboutin logo stitched on the side help to accent the upper, which sits atop a rubber outsole with textured foxing. Flipping through my beloved I keep coming across this designer’s name in the fine print: Maison . Who is this I ask? So naturally I hit google and do not find much beyond the boutique site, featuring the current collections and , nothing more not even a picture of the designer. This peaks my interest, but not as much as when Jay-Z mentions him in ‘Run This Town’ (Uh Uhh and ain’t nobody fresher, I’m in Maison uh Martin Margiela), and then Kanye in ‘ in ’ (What’s drugs my dealer, what’s that jacket Margiela?). Who is this fella!? He doesn’t seem to be all that popular but after doing some research I learn that he is a Belgian who studied under and then stepped out to design his own full line of couture pieces. He is known for creating clothing under the deconstructionalist school of design, with unfinished hems, exposed seams, and tags so discreet one cannot tell who the designer is without being in the know. The line is actually owned by Diesel and has pieces that are even beyond what my crazy fashion mind has imagined! See this sick jacket below’ I actually like it.

For its 2011 summer collection, has introduced a new streetwear-inspired boot named the . The futuristic shoe features a padded, V-shaped patchwork design crafted from calf leather and the brand’s signature checkerboard Damier Géant canvas covers the tongue and heel. With a removable anatomical insole and LV-embossed rubber sole, the Tribe is priced at $700 USD and is available in white, beige, blue and green colorways.

This season’s collaboration the Utah bag between and artist Scott Campbell. The black leather holdall comes with a laser etched tattoo design over parts of the bag. Look for it now at Vuitton stores.

Louis Vuitton release a sportier rendition of its popular Damier pattern through two bags seen here. The Damier Aventure Practical features a familiar tonal checkered pattern and instead of the usual leather based materials, it is seen in a foldable, lightweight nylon. The bag does however include leather and suede detailing. With its initial appearance for this season, the bag will be included in subsequent collections for men. The bag carries a suggested retail price of $910 USD.

Louis Vuitton presents their for Spring/Summer 2011 in a new perforated calf . The sneaker comes in both black and white and is now in stock at Vuitton stores around the globe.
