Fresh out the clink and TI and his crew link with Casio for a limited edition official AKOO G-Shock Chronograph dropping March 15th. They’re only releasing 1000 and they’ll run about $180. These look kind of right to me.

Back in ‘08 Kobe Bryant jumped over an Aston Martin and inspired Nike to team up with Aston Martin to create the “Kobe Bryant x Aston Martin Hyperdunk” sneaker by Nike. It is being said that only 500 pairs will be made and no release date has been set. But check out this crazy jump that gave way to inspire a $700 sneaker… Straight CRAZY!

Mr. Fashionista himself, Tim Gunn, is putting the Kardashian sister’s style in check. In a recent interview, Tim was asked about the Kardashian Sister’s new line at Bebe, and here’s what he had to say:

WW: Are you a supporter of the Kardashians’ line with Bebe?

TG: No! I just think the Kardashians have an absence of taste and I don’t think that that should be perpetuated. I’m sorry I’m sounding like an old farty snob but it bothers me.

WW: You sound like somebody who’s telling the truth.

TG: I will say in general with celebrity labels, with the understanding that they’re not actually designing them, but you hope in a way that they’re not overseeing them either. I’m all in favor of anything that employs young designers.

I’m honestly not a fan of the Kardashian sisters; however, it is very rare that they look a hot mess. Now I’m no Tim Gunn, but I happen to think they have style. Besides, I own one of the Kardashian dresses from the Bebe line, so no bad talk from me!

Nike Sportswear commemorates Black History Month with its newest rendition of the staple Air Force 1. Comprised of inspirational elements, the shoe touts an original design, which pays homage to the rise of Black enterprise, economic empowerment and the Harlem Renaissance individual behind this rise. The shoe’s main inspiration is clearly imprinted onto the upper: “The definition of a renaissance individual: one who possesses a multitude of skills, talent and a broad base of knowledge.” Silhouettes of a man and woman on the sock liner and hang tag signify that the change celebrated by Black History Month was made possible only by the participation of both genders. The boldest detail of the AF1 is its colorway, black red and green – the colors of the African American flag. In the tradition of community and giving back, Nike will be making a donation to Cheyney University, the oldest Black institution in the country and a key inspiration in the creation of this shoe. Okay so the Data Awards is a  Special Awards Ceremony That Will Recognize the Contributions of DJs, Producers, and the Dance Community during Grammy Week, so that now we got that cleared away,  let’s get to at Kelis.  Kelis whole outfit seemed to have come from the Avatar Movie but in a tooth fairy kind of way and ridiculous doesn’t even begin to explain it.  And then came the shoes, so futuristic….

Just a couple of days post the leak of a few Pastelle pics, word on the street is that Kanye’s line will not be  hitting stores anytime soon, if ever. It appears that the financial backers have decided to back out. And although there hasn’t been any confirmation as to why this is, it’s safe to assume its because of Kanye’s recent shenanigans… Poor ‘Ye! Check out the pics that were leaked. Judging by the looks of it, we really won’t be missing much!

Poor Steve. His copy-cat ways have finally caught up to him. And although I appreciate him duplicating the hottest shoes for those of us that can’t quite afford a $1500 shoe, but I knew it would eventually come back and bite him in the you know what.

Alexander McQueen has accused Steven Madden Ltd. of trade dress infringement for drawing perhaps too faithful a line from the designer’s own Faithful bootie.

In a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Oct. 1, McQueen’s Autumnpaper Ltd. alleges that Steven Madden’s Seryna bootie is a knockoff of the Faithful design.

The McQueen shoe debuted in January and is described in the suit as a black leather, open-toe stiletto ankle boot inspired by the motorcycle jacket. The complaint alleges that the Steven Madden model is a “studied imitation” that reproduces all those elements in the same manner.

“In fact, the only design element of the ‘Faithful Bootie’ that Madden did not deliberately copy is the zipper pull that contains the ‘Alexander McQueen’ trademark,” the designer’s lawyers wrote.

The suit says McQueen’s shoe has earned distinction in part through “widespread media attention” and has been photographed on the feet of Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate Olsen and Rihanna. McQueen alleges that Steven Madden has intent to trade on the popularity of the design and its commercial strength.

McQueen’s attorneys wrote that they sent a cease and desist letter to the Madden company in September, but that it has refused to comply. Steven Madden did not return a call seeking comment.

McQueen is seeking an injunction barring Steven Madden from selling items that infringe on its trade dress, profits realized by any wrongful acts plus interest, delivery of any infringing goods for destruction, legal fees and other relief.

New York fashion week has kicked off and celebrities are on the move. Some of these celebrities aren’t A listers but they certainly rocked out like they were.
Solange, Amerie, and Keri Hilson were all front row and so was Max Azria who showed up at the BCBG show early this morning.

Super producer and clothing line owner Pharrell Williams is working on a new project with Prada that will be affordable and under $200. Not another overpriced patent leather sneaker? Unless he decides to sell patent leather T-Shirts. lol

According to WWD, the fashion house has teamed up with Pharrell to “collaborate on a special project.” Whatever it is will be affordable (under $200) and nerdy (right up Pharrell’s alley). A company spokesperson had no comment.

Tyra Banks’ former assistant wants a small piece of her fortune — actually, he wants a small claims court piece.

TMZ picked up a small claims lawsuit filed in L.A County by Richard Thomas, who claims Miss Banks owes him $5,820.

Thomas is suing for back wages plus a little extra. The complaint says Thomas wants the money for “services rendered as assistant and advisor.”

We’re not sure how much he wants as an advisor.

And this is funny… the legal documents require Thomas to ask Tyra for the money prior to filing suit.

His response to that: “I have not been able to catch [Tyra] while she is in.
