Relationship is a means to an end versus an end in itself. The true purpose of relationship is the full flowering of each partner but only those who conquer fear reach the seventh stage of relationship – Allen L Roland

Most people are afraid of love because they are afraid of their deepest joy, delight and inner freedom and are trapped by a fear of deep vulnerability and intimacy.

In relationships, we must reach a place where being honest and being true to yourself is more important than the survival of the relationship! Let me illustrate this using Stendhal’s and Roland’s seven stages of a love relationship :

1. ADMIRATION ” I really admire you as a person “

2. BEGINNING OF DESIRE “I think I’d like to get to know you better.”

3. HOPE ” I hope you feel the same way about me ”

4. INCEPTION OF LOVE ” I think I’m falling in love with you ”

5. FIRST CRYSTALLIZATION ” I see the beauty and perfection within you ”

6. DOUBT, FEAR AND/OR JEALOUSY, ANGER AND RESENTMENT ” You’re going to hurt me or betray me like others have ”

This is where Stendhal ended his six stages of love for it is the stage where most, if not all, emotional relationships end with mutual anger, resentment or fear submerging all traces of the original love. What we do not realize in this stage is that these feelings are often associated with earlier childhood or relationship hurts we felt with loved ones and we are face to face with the decisions we made at that time to repress and deny our deepest feelings ~ because there was seemingly no-one there for us. We can either run, as most people do, or go inside and go through these fears by not denying the love, taking accountability for these feelings and stop being a victim! You cannot escape stage six until you are willing to go inside, take total accountability for your actions and feelings and stop denying love. This takes great courage but the payoff is immense! Resentment doesn’t heal! Anger doesn’t heal! Only love truly heals!

7. ROLAND’S SECOND CRYSTALLIZATION ” I feel the beauty and perfection within myself and I’m sharing it with you and the world ”

This Stage cannot be accomplished unless we realize our ultimate quest in life is to fully experience our authentic self and our connection to our original state of soul consciousness and an innate connection with the world.

IT’S A PLACE OF INNER VERSUS OUTER VALIDATION !

“Until I let go I cannot grow “, “Great love can both take hold and let go.” When you let go in relationship, you do not let go of the love. To let go with love you must, in essence, consciously love your partner. Your self respect will be your guide. You must reach the place where you can say that it’s more important that I love myself than you loving me. Conscious love (non-possessive, non-dependent and unconditional love) is rarely obtained between humans. The conscious love motive, in its most developed state, is the wish that the object should arrive at its own innate perfection ~ regardless of the consequences to the lover or partner. It is total unconditional love and when we come from this place we are embracing our deepest spiritual essence and a state of soul consciousness within ourselves. The paradox of this attitude is that such love always invokes eventually a similar attitude in its objects because we all seek, at the deepest level, to be unconditionally loved. As such, when we allow love to be our guiding intention through our thoughts and feelings and learn to trust unconditional love ~ we begin to see through clearer eyes and all things come into perfect balance and harmony.

Did you happen to see Katie Holmes on the cover of a recent issue of Allure? She was topless. She was wet. She was looking hotter than ever.

But that’s not what caught my attention. It’s the confession she made about not letting a man witness her do a particular activity.

“When you’re cleaning out your ears, you probably don’t want an audience!” Holmes said.

Beyond a bizarre hang up, this is just the latest declaration from a long line of women about maintaining sex appeal with their partner. There’s been much talk about sweats being the death of relationships, not passing gas in front of your mate, not letting him see you without make up on…

I call bullsh*t. Do I want my husband to find me sexy? Of course. Do I get dolled up for a date? Sure. (Actually, these days I prefer the flats, no makeup outings but I can still turn it out — and do — on occasion.) But not using a Q-Tip in front of him? Banning sweats? I’ve got news for you ladies: If you plan, like I do, to spend your life with this person, he’s going to see a lot more than ear wax and baggy drawers.

I don’t think guys truly even want that closed-door version of a woman. At least evolved, healthy, “normal” men don’t. In regards to a one-night stand or fling, sure they’d probably prefer to keep the mystery alive, but for a long-term, equal partnership where they, too, can be themselves, most men I know and associate with choose authenticity over artificial arousal.

Look at Mila Kunis. Men love Mila. I actually don’t think I’ve ever come across one who doesn’t. She’s gorgeous, smart, funny and can sex it up on the red carpet or in a lingerie scene on the big screen with Justin Timberlake. But, moreover, she’s a guy’s girl. She’s often in, gasp, sweats with no makeup, out with her man in broad daylight and photographers at every turn. She’s low maintenance, enjoys a beer and a ballgame and pretends to be no one but herself. I guarantee you that girl has cleaned her ears in front Ashton.

So far, in our relatively short life together, my husband’s seen me sick, held my hair and rubbed my back as I’ve clung to the toilet or splayed myself on the cold bathroom tile more times than I’d like. He’s examined questionable marks on my body, stood beside me as I’ve endured procedures, tests, infections and severe allergic outbreaks and nursed me through the gruesome aftermaths and, most recently, supported me through a pregnancy that wasn’t pretty.

But guess what? He still thinks I am. In fact, I can tell by the way he looks at me that he’s more in love as a result of it all. I’m a strong woman, weathering ordeals he knows he couldn’t, and he respects that. But I’ve also been vulnerable and, as a man, he appreciates that. He relishes the moments where he can take care of me because I’m normally independent as hell. When I truly need him, when I’m at my weakest and least attractive, I see how much I matter to him.

And I know I’m going to need a lot more of him in the future. Aging sucks. I witnessed my grandparents endure humiliating, horrifying circumstances at the end of their lives. It’s not fair. It’s also not sexy. But guess who was with them through it all? Their partner. Loving them through each bout and every blow. I know if you’d told them about the ear cleaning phobia or the loungewear theory, they’d laugh.

Of course it’s important to try in your relationship as it is in all areas of life. Giving up doesn’t benefit anyone. We’ve all fallen off the wagon and, when we do, what happens? We feel bad about ourselves, our confidence drops, we’re more irritable, less in the mood to be affectionate… Working on and bettering yourself will only enhance your life and, therefore, your partner’s. But wearing the occasional pair of sweatpants, sporting a naked face or cleaning your ears is hardly what I would classify as letting yourself go. There’s a difference between not trying and not being yourself.

The constant pressure to be “on” even in your own home is exhausting. I want a partner who I know is there for me, worts and all, and who I don’t have to put up a charade around. So it’s not sexy all the time, hell, most of the time. It’s real life. Real life isn’t sexy — it’s messy, cringe-worthy and, at times, ugly. But it’s also deep, authentic, meaningful and funny.
Those nights I’ve turned it up? Sure, it made for a good photo op or great sex, but those aren’t the moments my husband and I remember, reminisce about or that connect us. Some of our best inside jokes and cherished memories come from our most desperate, unattractive times. It’s those moments that we struggled or stumbled that make us laugh the most now, further endearing us to one another and what we’ve been through — together.

So, sorry Ms. Holmes, in my book, it’s not about the grooming habits or the choice of attire, not about the witnessing of bodily fluids, a few extra pounds or a little less hair, it’s about the companionship and support, when sexy faded long ago and true love and friendship remain. I’ll take that kind of relationship any day over the farce and “fairy tale.” It means I get to keep my sweats!

Starr Said: From His Smile to Yours {New Music} J.Cole, “Crooked Smile” -feat. TLC

In a society where the image of the person outweighs the character, and the width of your hips and the mass of his wallet is all that counts, we have all for victim to questioning the love we have for ourselves. We could blame it on many things from Social Applications that have turned into an outlet to promote vanity to the feeling that we’ve bought into the idea of fame, stardom, and twisted beauty.

Perhaps

it is simply so

we haven’t learned to appreciate what there is to love about ourselves.

Luckily so, J.Cole’s most recent release, “Crooked Smile”, featuring the legendary TLC, addresses self-love and more.

Outside of advice to Women pressured to be “beautiful” by society’s definition today, he addresses some of his own imperfections in a few lines that goes:

“They tell me I should fix my grill cause I got money now
I ain’t gon’ sit around and front like I ain’t thought about it
A perfect smile is more appealing but it’s funny how
My shit is crooked look at how far I done got without it
I keep my twisted grill, just to show them kids it’s real
We ain’t picture perfect but we worth the picture still“

Cole goes on to say,

“Love yourself, girl, or nobody will
Oh, you a woman? I don’t know how you deal
With all the pressure to look impressive and go out in heels
I feel for you
Killing yourself to find a man that’ll kill for you

Stare in the mirror but its clear that you can’t face what’s wrong

Not to mention how awesome I think it is that the song features TLC, being so many legends of music are easily forgotten in a world that doesn’t care to remember much of anything. That means and show a lots in my opinion. #Respect.

Needless to say, I am eager to get back to the real!

Nothing short of anxious and totally looking forward to J.Cole’s upcoming project, “Born Sinner” due June 18th, I am starting to think it’s going to be a Cole Summer, pun intended!

Amongst many awesome things that occurred over the weekend,

I was introduced to an awesome song, and video, “Treat Me Like Fire”.

The daughter of icon Vanessa Williams, Jillian Hervey, has paired with Lucas Goodman to form the duo “Lion Babe”. Their sound, both racy and smooth, reminds so much of Erykah Badu, which is a relief considering the current state of music. The apple truly doesn’t fall far from the tree!

“My heart sinks when Jillian sings ‘I got to go now…’ because I’m not sure when we’ll next hear from this duo.”, says Kareem Taylor of The Kareem Taylor Experience.

Nonetheless, I am hoping to hear, and certainly see, much more of Lion Babe.

Considering that this is their only song, who knows how much better the duo can get?!

Starr Said: Pull Up To My Bumper Baby -Chris Brown & Karrueche Involved In A Fender Bender

So it seems like Chris not only went running back to Karrueche after he and Rihanna appear to be on the outs lately, but this time, he also ran into the back of a Mercedes too. Poor Chris has no luck in cars, pun intended.

“The on again-off-again and now back on again couple found themselves in a little bit of trouble yesterday when Chris was involved in an accident with Karrueche riding shot gun. The two were riding near Toluca Lake when Chris’ black Range Rover rear-ended a lady’s Mercedes.

No cops were called, but Karrueche did take photos on the scene with her phone for insurance purposes.

The fender bender comes days after Page Six reported that Chris was spotted kissing on Karrueche at the Billboard Awards after party in Vegas.”

I am not one to follow “celebs” and miss out on the happenings of my own life, BUT…

this love triangle is rather interesting.

It surely reminds us that no matter how “famous” you are, and no matter what your lifestyle may be…

matters of the heart are Universal.

In a world of “selfies” and “duck lips”, I found Jon Burgerman’s most recent project rather amusing and nothing short of clever.

“Intrigued by the Tumblr-girl phenomenon—where images of girls are posted online and then endlessly reblogged on various Tumblr sites—Brooklyn-based illustrator Jon Burgerman has decided to join in. Only instead of simply reposting selected images of girls he sees on various Tumblr sites, he’s been drawing them and then blogging the resulting colourful, playfully irreverent images. ‘I draw girls I see on Tumblr and place them back onto Tumblr. I try to post one every day,’ says Burgerman of the project’s simple premise.

A self-initiated (and self-explanatory) project, Burgerman’s new Tumblr blog—dubbed “Drawings Of Girls I’ve Seen On Tumblr” — has been up and running for a couple of weeks now and features images with titles such as “Girl Looking Tough”, “Girl With Lots Of Tattoos,” or “Girl With Harry Styles.” He tells us, ‘It’s a mix and flattening of a variety of images of models, [girls in] adverts, celebrities, self-taken shots, etc that all borrow the same visual language from each other and hanker for the lingering gaze of the viewer.’ The idea is, he adds, that the new blog acts as a kind of ‘visual discussion of this cultural trend.’”

Starr Said: Kanye and All of His Genius

That name rings bells, sounds alarms, and much, much more!

We may agree to disagree when it comes to Kanye’s character, but we can not deny his genius!

Actually… let’s take a minute to pull the definition of “genius”.

A genius is a person who displays exceptional intellectual ability, creativity, originality, typically to a degree that is associated with the achievement of unprecedented insight. There is no scientifically precise definition of genius, and the question of whether the notion itself has any real meaning has long been a subject of debate.

With that said…

Over the weekend, Kanye introduced the World to his new song, “New Slaves”.

Premiering on 66 buildings in 6 countries across the World, Kanye has done it again. The presentation, the message, everything… pure genius!

After reading reviews on various sites, I was surprised to see that people were saying Kanye was somewhat contradictory in voice due to his flashy rhymes of the past. Many felt that he was out of line to address how people have indeed become slaves to consumerism, when he has boasted about material things in many of his songs.

I beg to differ!

Kanye, in my opinion, is one of the few lyricists (today) who can be both righteous and “rachet”, for lack of a better word. I feel for Kanye! It is almost as if he can’t win! If he raps about a particular lifestyle, (that he is actually living), it’s too much, but if he attempts to open the eyes of people to things that affect US ALL, it’s not enough. Had it not been for some of those very “turned up” lyrics Kanye bought about in the past, perhaps this very song and message may not have been so viral, and just maybe he would not have been as capable of reaching so many different people and places as well.

Call me biased. Call him genius. It doesn’t take away from his work!

“We”, as in the “Illuminati” generation.

We can not be the illumined ones considering this…

We are all familiar with the Television Series “True Blood” and how the vampires on the show had been alive since many centuries ago due to their immortality. Well, in recent news, a photo has surfaced with a man who looks much like well known Mogul and Entertainer, Jay-Z. People are now drawing extreme conclusions and hypothesizing conspiracies from the photograph (see below).

The photo was found by the Schomburg Center For Research In Black Culture at the New York Public Library and taken by photographer Sid Grossman in Harlem in the year 1939.

“One theory is that Jay-Z is a vampire. The blood-sucking beasts don’t age the way humans do and some people believe that the rapper could be hundreds or thousands of years old. That would explain the singer’s in depth knowledge of New York City.

Another theory is that Jay-Z is a member of the Illuminati. The secret society reportedly rules the world from behind the scenes and some believe that Jay-Z has found his way into the ranks. Of course, that doesn’t really explain the 1939 photo of the Jay-Z look-alike.

The most plausible theory is that Jay-Z is a time traveler. The singer recently wrote several songs for the movie The Great Gatsby and may have wanted to travel back to 1920s New York to get some inspiration. Naysayers of this theory say that The Great Gatsby took place in the 1920s and the photos is dated in 1939.”

I can say I am rarely amazed these days.

We examine everything that has to do with nothing.

I decided to share it with you guys. Howard Stern and Jay Z, two seemingly polar opposites, have come together in conversation producing lots of gems. I love how the interview is genuine and well composed so much so it allows you to see Jay in a very respectful, and most certainly intellectual, light.

Starr Said: Full is the Moon.

“Since everything in the universe is a form of energy, everything falls within the domain of the Law of Cycles: Sunrise and sunset, the waxing and waning moon, the ebb and flow of tides, and the seasons of the year all reflect this law. It reminds us there is a time for everything under the sun. All things rise and fall. Appreciating the energy cycles of our lives helps us apply good timing.. Each of us has our rhythms. As we find our own rhythm, we take advantage of whatever point of the cycle we find ourselves; we learn to flow in harmony and rhythm with the Law of Cycles.” – Dan Millman

Life moves in cycles… everything around us and especially within us. It seems as if we Humans are the only ones who seldom go with, or acknowledge, the cycles of our existence. The Moon is a perfect example of Cycles and Nature. The Moon goes through its (natural) cycle every 28 days with the least resistance. I’ll get more into the actual cycles of The Moon in a separate post, but today I wanted to share with everyone a little about what’s happening with The Moon now, and how it will affect you..

Today, April 25th, there is a Full Moon in Scorpio and also a Lunar Eclipse. By definition, a Full Moon is a lunar phase that occurs when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun. A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth into its umbra (shadow). This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned (in “syzgy”) exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle.

Hence, a lunar eclipse can only occur the night of a Full Moon.

After all of the ‘gibber jabber’, what does this have to do with you?

Believe it or not, we are all connected and effected by the cycles of the Moon. Below is a little information from one of my favorite sites, Mystic Mamma. You will get to know more about changes you may feel but not necessarily understand at that moment. To me, these cycles are tool-guides to everyday living that certainly assist in our growth and interaction with others and ourselves.

As I Writer, I enjoy reading and I especially love to learn. Knowledge is most certainly power! With that said, a good friend of mine, sent me a link to an article that I copied below. You will find that is nothing short of informative and certainly knowledgeable. Check it out below, and please do share with others! Each one, teach two!

Throughout human history, most slavery has been enforced physically — with whips and chains. You either did what you were told or they beat you into submission.

Most modern people mistakenly believe slavery has been largely eradicated across our world. They don’t see people shackled in chains or being ordered what to do by their owners. Modern culture no longer accepts overt slavery, right? …Or does it?

As it turns out, slavery is alive and well on our planet, and its shackles are made of numbers, not steel. Those who are enslaved under this new system are people who fail to understand simple math: numbers, compounding interest, loans, investments and so on. You show me a person who can’t do math, and I’ll show you someone who functions as a slave to the system.

In this article, I show you how to escape mathematical slavery and live as a free person. But first, you need to understand how mathematical slavery really works.

Let’s begin with WAGES.

Wages

There’s a good reason why people who earn incomes reported on IRS W-2 forms are often called “wage slaves.” It’s not a derogatory term; it’s more of a cry for help. “Help! I’m a slave to my paycheck and I can’t get ahead!”

There’s a reason you can’t get ahead: the banks and the government have fine-tuned your “payments” to them (taxes, loans, fees, etc.) in order to extract the maximum amount from your paycheck while leaving you so little of your own that you can never get ahead enough to stop working.

Your car payment and house payment, for example, are precisely calculated to make sure you can’t pay either of them off ahead of schedule. They’re mathematically selected to guarantee you can only “squeak by” and barely pay more than the monthly interest, thereby extending your loan principles into the far distant future.

Mathematically impaired people, of course, don’t even know the difference between the “interest” and “principle” sections of a loan repayment schedule. Hence, they do not realize they can actually save themselves a small fortune on their home loans by making HALF the normal payment TWICE as often (every two weeks instead of once a month, essentially). This costs you nothing extra but can save as much as $100,000 or more on the life of a home loan.

Wage slaves genuinely believe that the parts of their paycheck “withheld” by the government are needed to run the government. This delusion has been hammered into their heads for so long that they simply cannot come to grips with the reality: the government can create all the money it needs to fund itself. It does not need to take it from taxpayers. The entire purpose of the tax code is not to raise money but to control the wage slaves.

Home loans

Mathematically impaired individuals really get “taken to the bank” when it comes to home loans. Through the entire process of getting loan pre-approval, making an offer on an house, having the offer accepted and then closing the home to make it “yours,” these people are getting royally screwed up one side and down the other.

For starters, they do not understand that they are paying (a loan origination fee) for the “right” to pay a bank over 200% more than their house actually cost. Yep, if you take out a 30-year home loan at any interest rate exceeding 5.5%, you actually end up paying for your home TWICE in terms of total payments to the bank.

And don’t even get me started on variable rate loans, “interest only” loans and other scammy vehicles that keep people financially enslaved.

Insurance

Insurance is where mathematically impaired individuals really pay the price. Most of the profits in the insurance industry come from people who make terrible decisions about what level of deductibles to apply to their insurance policies.

The way this works is that the lower your deductible, the more you’re getting ripped off. On auto insurance, any deductible under $2500 is a waste of money. Agents “sell” it to mathematically impaired individuals by saying, “You should buy a deductible of just $250, that way if something happens, the maximum you’ll have to pay out of pocket will be $250.”

To a mathematically impaired individual, that sounds perfectly reasonable. What they don’t grasp, however, is that the additional fees they are paying for the lower deductible result in them paying far more than $250 in additional insurance fees, usually within just the first 12 months. They would be much smarter to buy a far higher deductible, save the difference in the insurance rates and set it aside to cover the larger deductible if something happens.

Mathematically impaired individuals don’t realize the insurance companies have already run all the numbers through their computers and determined that a person with a lower deductible has an increased risk of causing a payout. Thus, rates are much higher.

These same principles apply to all forms of insurance, not just auto insurance. Generally speaking, people who are obsessed with buying insurance for everything are the very same people who are allowing themselves to be ripped off all the time. I’ve known people who buy cancer insurance, flood insurance, fire insurance, theft insurance, data loss insurance, work injury insurance and a dozen other policies. It’s almost an addiction for them, but at the end of the day they have no money left because they’re sent it all to the insurance companies in a foolish effort to try to “eliminate risk” in their life.

Here’s some stern advice: Number one, you can’t eliminate all the risk in your life. And number two, insurance companies go broke all the time, meaning that you might be paying insurance into a company that goes belly-up right when you need them.

The Lottery

People who can’t do math love to play the lottery. That’s because they are incapable of comprehending their odds of winning, so the state extracts yet more money from them in order to feed its own endless budgetary needs.

Lotteries are a way the state steals from the poor. Wealthy people don’t play the lotto, primarily because wealthy people tend to have a far better grasp on mathematics.

National debt

A typical mathematically impaired American does not know the difference between the national debt and the budget deficit. They think that when Obama says something like, “The budget deficit is actually decreasing…” that it means the national debt is being paid down. Or even that the budget deficit itself is getting smaller.

What Obama really means, however, is that the rate of growth of the budget deficit is smaller. This is the government equivalent of a “budget cut.”

Because mathematically disadvantaged people do not understand deficits and debts, they are incapable of discerning which candidate for public office is actually committed to shrinking deficits and paying off debts. Thus, they vote for whoever talks the most convincingly, and that’s how we end up electing the best liars rather than the best economists.

Investments

The stock market is going up! Must be a great time to get in, right?

It’s all a scam, of course, designed to extract money from people who cannot do math. Most people, for example, don’t understand that the “Dow” is a compiled metric of the market that is constantly re-worked to show high numbers by dumping poor performers and adding high performers. The same is true with the Nasdaq. These market index numbers are specifically manipulated to make you think the market is doing extremely well at all times.

Then there’s the fact that as the money supply gets flooded with cheap money from the Fed, it causes all stocks to appear to go UP in value because they are all being purchased with increasingly worthless dollars from an eroding money supply.

A typical American thinks, “The Dow is up another 20 points today! That’s good!” but they fail to realize the Dow is a contrived market index whose primary purpose is to sucker new investors into the system so that the market insiders can (legally) separate them from their money.

10 ways to free yourself from the modern era of mathematical slavery

The one thing different about modern-day slavery is that you can free yourself from its grip. It only requires that you educate yourself in basic mathematics and begin to use your knowledge to separate yourself from banks, lotteries, investment scams and other vehicles of financial confiscation.

Here’s the true path to financial freedom that frees you from mathematical slavery:

#1) Develop a valuable skill and use it to earn money.

#2) Live well BELOW your means so that you can save at least 20% of your after-tax income.

#3) When you buy your first house, pay it off as quickly as possible — within five years at most.

#4) Never buy another house using bank loans again. Always pay cash and you’ll never be living under somebody else’s roof.

#5) NEVER take out loans on vehicles. Buy your vehicles outright, even if it means driving something older and less expensive.

#6) NEVER buy insurance that isn’t required by law. If you are forced by the state to purchase insurance, get the highest deductible allowed. Set aside enough money to cover any catastrophic loss, and you’ll always be ahead of the game vs. buying insurance for it.

#7) NEVER play the lottery. The state has enough suckers to fund itself.

#8) Consider starting your own business. This is the one true path to economic freedom. It will require time, money and effort, but it offers you no limit on your earnings. Plus, it gives you a wealth of ways to legally deduct all your business expenses.

#9) Don’t listen to mainstream “investment advisors,” none of whom warned anybody about the dot-com crash or the housing bubble crash. These people are paid sales agents for mutual funds and other investment vehicles “for the masses.” If you really want to invest in something valuable, invest in your own education via books, DVDs, seminars or graduate degrees that offer real, practical skills.

#10) Diversify your savings. Never put all your eggs in one basket… or even one currency. Be wary of the coming financial collapse, bank holidays, bank account confiscations, etc. Make sure you can protect the wealth you’ve earned.

And stop watching television! Nothing makes you more mathematically stupid than CNBC.

On a much-needed mid-day break, I sat in my car and decided to do nothing. In the midst of attempting to be still for once, I picked up my phone and began a little social-spying via Instagram. Soon after, I came across a photo of a mannequin head that was being used in a Cosmetology class and then, it dawned on me…

Seldom, if ever, have you seen in a Hair School, students being taught to maintain, style, or treat multicultural/ethnic hair. The most you would (typically) see would be the opposite, how to texturize or ‘relax’ what is in reality very flexible hair.

I believe a lot of the reason most of our people are unsure how to manage their hair is because it isn’t likely they have been taught to, whether in school or at home. This is where education would come in.

I think it would be rather awesome to see Cosmetology schools and programs offer education on all variations of hair! It would be even better to see it incorporated into mainstream Cosmetology today.

After all, clearly, “It ain’t for everybody…“.

In recent Entertainment News, Tar-Heel State native J. Cole has released the video for his single “Power Trip”. As Cole is known to be lyrically inclined, the song is nothing short of appeasing.

It seems as if there are few to none story-tellers in music now. An overall lack of visual expression if you ask me. Usually the imagery is subject to trend or simply overtly sexed. However, in the video “Power Trip”, J. Cole introduces us to an unexpected story line and Miguel is down to play the part!
