Jay-Z the multi millionaire rapper show his hometown that he was not beyond the common man by skipping the Maybach and jumping on to the local train. He was surrounded by security, commuters and fans as he boarded the R-train heading to Brooklyn Barclays Center, Saturday afternoon before his last of eight shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. He was seen walking into the Canal Street station in Manhattan and caught the R train to his destination of Atlantic Avenue, where the new billion-dollar arena is located.
