Christina Aguilera attends the 2012 George McGovern Leadership Award Ceremony at The State Department on Wednesday (October 3) in Washington, D.C.
The 31-year-old singer was joined by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Yum! Brands chairman David Novak to help support world hunger relief.
Christina was honored at the event for her work for the World Food Program and spoke before a crowd of 200 about how her work in the field has moved her and what we are doing to end world hunger.
“In DC for the George McGovern Leadership Awards at the US Department of State. Proud to use my voice for good & help From Hunger to Hope,” Christina tweeted that afternoon.
