Saturn Direct in Libra: Relationships in Balance

The cosmic taskmaster is just completing his final retrograde run in the sign of The Scales. Libra rules relationships, balance and justice — so Saturn is absolutely exalted in this constellation. Saturn does his best work of enforcing rules, regulations and boundaries in a sign concerned predominantly with doing the right thing, keeping the peace and preserving harmony. All of the relationship lessons that we have had a chance (or more likely were forced) to process internally since February are coming up for their final practice run between now and October.
Where have you been out of balance with yourself or another? This is the time to set the scales right again. Hopefully you’ve used the last five months to contemplate where you may have lost yourself in expectation land in your relationships. Whatever is lacking is ultimately something we aren’t giving … for starters, to ourself. The true path to truth, beauty and harmony begins within, of course and Saturn in Libra has brought plenty of opportunities to remind us of this priceless truth again and again. Saturn is a patient but insistent teacher after all.

Now that we are heading into the final four-month homestretch of Saturn’s profound relationship lessons, expect some serious testing of your current relationship ground. If the foundation is not rooted in equality or just principles, you can expect the severing powers of Saturn to take hold. This is a time to cut our losses before we waste more precious time — Saturn’s top pet peeve.
