CAKE BOSS’S EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH ARRESTED IN CHILD SEX SCANDAL

Yup, you read right! Remigio “Remy” Gonzalez, 32, brother-in-law to TLC’s Cake Boss reality tv star Buddy Valastro was arrested on August 17, 2010 after admitting to sexually assaulting a teenager in East Hanover and Florham Park. Assistant Prosecutor, Meg Rodriguez of Morris County made the announcement that her office was forwarding the case directly to a grand jury to determine if the case was eligible for any indictments.

Gonzalez is charged with first and third degree aggravated assault, second-degree sex assault, third-degree endangering and fourth-degree criminal-sexual contact of the 14-year-old teen on March 9. He is still in Morris County jail on $300k bail.

Two witnesses have come forth accusing the the former Â employee-of-the-month for sexually assaulting the minor, in which he denied until the witnesses later told him they were going to take the victim to the doctor. At that point Gonzalez allegdely began to break down crying and admitted that he engaged in inappropriate sexual acts with the minor. Later he retracted his confession saying that he only touched the teen in private areas. The teen’s gender has yet to be released.
