Lil Wayne was caught today at Rikers in possession of “unauthorized earphones and a charger” during a search.
He’s being charged with possession of contraband, says a source. Inmates are allowed to buy an AM/FM player and earphones from the commissary, but what Wayne had wasn’t authorized.
The bigger picture is that somehow the unauthorized MP3 player made it past all types of levels of security at the Riker’s island prison. Someone over there is not doing their job and needs to stop slipping.
The good news for the fans is that we know Weezy is itching to make music and is probably going crazy that he can’t. I know I can’t wait to hear what he comes up with as soon as he gets the chance to hit the studio again.
