Chambers Funeral Home & Crematorium in Riverdale, Maryland has had its licensed revoked by the state Board of Morticians and Funeral Directors after nearly 40 bodies were found stacked on top of each other, leaking fluid in a garage.
On April 26, 2010 found that the bodies were supposed to be cremated but were packed in a garage while they awaited cremation. An employee even warned investigators not to “get upset about all the bodies in there,” according to reports!
In the garage, body bags containing human remains were stacked on top of each other leaking fluid and radiating a overwhelming odor.
William Chambers, the co-owner of this nasty ass funeral home said that he most of the bodies in the pile were cadavers from Georgetown Medical University’s School of Medicine, whom the funeral home had a contract with to cremate the remains “at one time” and the bodies just kept coming.
Chambers  is working to clean up their act and hopes to get their license back  from the state. There is a hearing to discuss the possibility of the funeral home obtaining its license again.
